Memo to Mass Democrats: "We'd Like to Welcome You Back From Disneyland"

To my Friends and Neighbors who still call themselves Democrats:
I feel your pain. You have my condolences. I know it’s got to feel terrible to see what has become of your finest dreams and best intentions.
Your grand experiment with the inexperienced ‘community organizer’ has been a dismal and expensive failure.
- your home value and your retirement portfolio are way down.
- gas prices are way up - 83% up today, and rising
- unemployment remains at an all-time high, Black unemployment is now over 16%, and unemployment for Blacks under 30 is over 40%.
- 46 Million Americans [15%] are on food stamps and/or welfare.
- Islamic fundamentalists - the Muslim Brotherhood - is taking over across North Africa, the Mideast, and South Asia. Iran seems hell-bent on provoking the Armageddon war their Twelvers dream about, and Pakistan’s 100+ nuclear warheads may fall into evil hands at any moment.
- Greece is in chaos, and the entire European Union seems ready to follow them into a summer of street riots and burning cities. Occupy is planning that here.
And thus far Mister Obama’s only solutions seem to be to divide voting groups, - offer tax gimmicks your grandkids will pay for, and beat his incessant drum about super-taxing the top 1%.
We all know that if we actually stripped the 1% of ALL their wealth it would run this country for just 16 days.
Here in Massachusetts the Patrick administration is busily trying to cover up scandals while balancing the bloated state budget on the backs of the gambling addicted.
And even as I type these words, a Federal Grand Jury is handing down indictments for a passel of career slime balls on Beacon Hill. Speaker Deleo will likely soon make history as the 4th Democratic Speaker in a row to be indicted.
Today everywhere you drive in this state you see the glaring legacy of 40 years of one-party Democratic rule - - the empty factories, empty mills, empty storefronts, shuttered restaurants, and empty lives of our poorest citizens.
Union workers - long the backbone of Democratic Politics - sit idle on unemployment as illegal immigrants enjoy Deval Patrick’s sanctuary and free benefits.
Your personal share of our state debt is over $15K. That’s on top of the $49K you owe as your share of the Federal Debt.
So, yes, - it’s tough to stand on the record of either Democratic administration.
Glowing lofty promises of Hope, Change, and Together we Can - have met the reality of flawed public policy, economic reality, inept leadership, and deeply embedded career corruption.
Real change - change that returns America and Massachusetts will not come easily. Unlike the empty promises of Obama and Patrick - there is no easy ‘quick fix’.
Massachusetts in particular has driven out so much real industry that it may take a total sweep of Beacon Hill to make a meaningful change. Short of that, our state will remain a basket case.
That’s why so many of your family, friends, and neighbors retire to tax-friendly states.
We Republicans would like to welcome you back from Disneyland.
It was never real. We knew that, and we did try to tell you.
Rip off those faded Obama bumper stickers, and go to Town Hall and switch your enrollment.
Your grandparents will forgive you - they already know this is not FDR’s Democratic Party; - these are European socialists.
Your kids and grandkids will thank you.
For their sake, - vote Republican. And when they’re old enough - tell them honestly about the failed experiments you helped launch - and how it almost ruined the country!
